This is a place for my movie and music reviews, media analysis, short stories, essays, personal anecdotes, and just writing in general. I feel like I don’t have the best analytical mind when it comes to movie, television, books, music, etc… But like everything else I believe it’s a wimpy little muscle that through time, anyone is able to strengthen.

My blog name “Big Weird Feelings” comes from the novel Pattern Recognition by William Gibson. In essence, it describes the general state of jet lag, a sort of out-of-sync haziness. For me, this state can be beneficial as the mind drifts, unfocuses, and starts seeing things a little differently. In some ways, it is in this state in which I feel most creative.
